Biot et les templiers

After nine years without the festival, 2023 took us back to the XIIIth century for the 7th edition of Biot et Les Templiers. This small hilltop village is famous for its history dating back to 154 BC, and the Templars are a huge part of it.

The weekend of March 31-April 2 marked the return of the festival, and our village welcomed over 50,000 visitors over these three days. I took the first two days of the event to just wander around and enjoy this journey through history, filled with knight battles, birds of pray displays, medieval entertainment and rustic markets.

On the last day (today!) I brought my camera to commemorate this weekend and capture something to looks back on, and share with you, whilst waiting for the return of Biot et Les Templiers, whenever it may be.
